The torque wrench and insertion tool gives you a real feel for the initial stability of the implant. The system is pretty straightforward and markings on drills are highly visible.

I've been using the BioMax for about a year and really like it. The NP connection is nice and allows a nice platform shift and good conical connection. It's an aggressive implant and has good initial stability. When buying the 5-pack, $89/implant is hard to beat

Outstanding Implant

The platform shifting using the NP connection with 4.3 and 5.0 diameter implants in the Bio Max line, is fantastic. I have been amazed at what this company brings to the table. You introduced me to what I consider to be a paradigm shift in implant dentistry: a guided, single drill osteotomy protocol. I never would have dreamed that a system existed with such simplicity and accuracy. The ActivFluor surface is in the "sweet spot" of surface roughness. Bone likes it, but it is not a surface that looks to be overly prone to bacterial colonization if exposed. Great system ,great implant, great price... I'm so glad I found my way to you guys!

Ive been using Bio Max implants since inception and have had outstanding results. The initial stability is excellent and comparable if not better than its major competitors. The support provided by Drs. Lerner and Zickmann is better than any other major implant company provides. Overall top notch product, innovation, price, and support.

Like the previous reviews, I am very impressed with the company. I have had to talk to Dr. Lerner and Zickmann and couple times and they have been very informative and accomodating to my schedule. You can't beat the pricing and the mount-less insertion is fantastic. I've been able to get good initial stability and, so far, everything has seemed to integrate nicely. Would recommend to anyone.

Mixed feelings

1st: I am very impressed with the company. Consultation with the owners and prices are just excellent. 2nd: my issue (and only real issue), is that I can not achieve a satisfactory initial stability. May be it is my case selection, but with my previous system, I sometimes had trouble to torque the implant all the way in with the wrench. Here I am careful with my hands (NCm of 6?), and still I have no initial stability, and having issues removing the placement key without removing the implant. I have placed over 15 of these so far and did not have any issues with healing, but a little more agressive design would have helped in a soft bone.

Wow! That is my experience switching from Nobel Biocare to BlueSkyBio. I received very fast and personal counsel from Dr. Lerner and Zickmann themselves through their cell phones and direct email. They took the time to explain and answer all my questions. Very happy with the prices and not having to buy new surgical instruments and be able to use their implants right away.
