01 / The bite
See the whole picture
Send full upper and lower arch scans with a bite registration verified in maximum intercuspation. They give us the context to review the bite before you spend chair time adjusting zirconia.
The free First Fit restoration
Order a qualifying BlueSkyBio abutment and get a professionally designed zirconia crown at no charge. Complete records and a second set of eyes before fabrication help your restoration seat as planned.

Digital fabrication closely follows the approved design. Complete, accurate records help us design for the patient’s actual bite, implant position and available bone clearance.

02 / The connection
Submit a clear periapical X-ray with the scanbody in place. A tight screw alone does not establish full seating. Clinically verify rotational engagement; the image helps us assess the connection.
03 / The bone
We review visible bone levels alongside your scans and clinical findings. We can adapt the emergence contour or request a clinical assessment for bone profiling before fabrication.
Why the scanbody X-ray matters
When an implant sits below the surrounding bone, a narrow scanbody may seat even though a wider restoration has too little room. The X-ray helps the lab and restorative clinician see that risk before fabrication.
The narrow scanbody reaches the connection. Its seating alone does not show how much clearance a crown has near the bone.
A wider crown contour can contact the surrounding bone, leaving a gap even though the scanbody appeared fully seated.
With the X-ray and clinical findings, we can discuss a revised emergence contour or a clinician-led assessment for bone profiling.
Here, the scanbody stops short of the implant connection. Bone interference can leave a gap that a surface scan alone may not explain. If the scanbody position is recorded as fully seated, the crown can be designed from the wrong implant position.
That is why we ask for a periapical X-ray with the scanbody in place. The restorative clinician confirms seating, and we can review the next step together before the crown is made.
Illustrative example. The treating clinician evaluates bone clearance and determines the appropriate clinical approach.
If the restoration does not fit despite complete records, our review, resolution of requested corrections and your design approval, we will remake it at no charge.
Cases that proceed without these steps are not eligible for this no-charge fit remake commitment.
