DIGITAL ORTHODONTICS

Clear Aligners. So many patient are searching for them, but the overhead costs can be quite cost-prohibitive. For those ortho relapse cases or mild/moderate Malocclusion cases, wouldn't most patients prefer to wear a thin, clear piece of plastic that no-one can readily see? Blue Sky Bio is preparing to release their Orthodontic Module to add to their already widely loved and respected Implant Planning software. And, in the keeping with tradition, they are making this software free to download and use. The only fee is a per-case export fee that would rival the cost of a single cup of coffee from Starbucks.
But let's not forget. Not all cases will be appropriate for clear aligners. Traditional brackets and wires have a VERY important place in the care of our patients. But, what about refining and digitizing the most time consuming part of this treatment, the bracketing appointment. Wouldn't we all much rather position the brackets while having a cup of coffee? With digital design, we can print models and fabricate stents that will carry and position our brackets just as planned on the computer. Not only does this cut a 1.5hr bracketing appointment down to about 40min or less, but no more using mirrors and trying not to nudge a bracket in the process. And what's even best is that is reduces the likelyhood of having to reposition in the future.
This course is intended to help familiarize the attendee with the use of the Blue Sky Bio Orthodontic module. This module allows the user to digitally manipulate the position of the teeth in a model and align in an ideal manner. Then, the software will generate progressive models to manipulate the position of the teeth until they reach the preferred final destination. This software is still in testing. This course will get you the jump-start you want to start testing it in your own office and be ahead of the curve for the official release. Also, we will cover the the very simple process of fabricating your own bracket trays. And of course, we'll cover the process of printing these models in your own office if that's what you wish to do.

BLUE SKY BIO HANDS-ON LEVEL II

This hands-on 2-day seminar was designed by CAD-Ray, exclusively for Blue Sky Bio, to cover the entire Blue Sky Bio implant product line. Through this course, you will become skilled at every step of the guided surgery process. We will teach you how to use the BSB software to treatment plan and design stents through CAD/CAM and cone beam data for tooth-borne and edentulous cases. We will cover their entire line of implants and teach you to become proficient at direct cut drills, by sharing innovative techniques to help you start placing implants immediately. Portions of this course will be presented in conjunction with “The Role of Cone Beam and CAD/CAM in Guided Surgery”.

Course Objectives:

• Mastery and nuances of the entire Blue Sky Bio implant product line including BSB Software, implant lines, drills and protocols.
• How to integrate cone beam and CAD/CAM data while understanding limitations
