COURSE SUMMARY: This is a one day course. The didactic portion will focus on the placement of a dental implants. This didactic portion will also cover briefly immediate placement, immediate load, grafting techniques and complications. The second half of the day will consist of a hands on lab where attendees will practice their surgical skills. This portion of the day will include a lab on flap design and suturing technique as well as a lab that will allow you to place implants on resin models. This course is suited for dentists who have never placed an implant or need more confidence to place more. This will give you the knowledge of treatment planning and case selection so that you may seek the ideal candidates. For those of you taking this course prior to the live surgery course, this will give you the necessary guidelines you will apply in that course.
Dr. Tatiana Santiago Herzog graduated in 2010 from the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry. After graduating Dr. Herzog immersed herself into the study or oral Implantology. Traveling the world and the country to learn, Dr. Herzog is now a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. This level of commitment and award is only granted after evidence of advanced experience and dedication as well as a board examination. Dr Herzog owns two dental practices in South Florida where she has 4 other dentist associates that practice with her. In addition, Dr. Herzog is part of a research team. Partnering with faculty from the University of Florida, Dr. Herzog is studying the effects of immediate load on dental implants as well as the effects of testosterone on osseointegration. Dr. Herzog frequents Europe to meet with dentists from around the world including Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, France and Brazil in order to collaborate on new techniques and technology. | |
Dr. Alexandre Ribeiro, Periodontist is fluent in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Dr. Ribeiro’s education includes a master’s degree in oral biology with research in dental implants. After receiving his dental degree and passing the National Board Dental Examinations, Dr. Ribeiro was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine. He then spent four years studying periodontics and periodontal prosthesis at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Ribeiro has received the highest level of certification in Periodontics when he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Ribeiro has presented in periodontics and implant dentistry in meetings and seminars across the US and abroad. He teaches Periodontics at University of Florida. He belongs to the American Academy of Periodontics and the Academy of Osseointegration. |

The registration for this course is $2500. Every attendee will receive FULL CREDIT for the cost of their tuition. Each attendee will receive from CAD-RAY the following Blue Sky Bio products: 4 dental implants, 2 final drills, and 1 torque wrench (approximately $700 value). Each attendee will also receive multiple case designs from CAD-RAY.com to cover the remaining cost of the tuition. Furthermore, every graduate of this course can directly send their cases to Burbank Dental for stent manufacturing with FDA approved stent material and the appropriate metal rings for their cases. Stent fees are $100 for single unit and $200 for mutiple unit tooth borne cases, and $300 for single edentulous arches!
